With master slack-key guitar player and Grammy Award winner George Kahumoku Jr. as host, the weekly Slack Key Show showcases Masters of Hawaiian Music at the beautiful Aloha Pavilion in Lahaina. Slack-key is a genre of guitar music that originated in Hawaii. It refers to open tunings or a “slackening” of the guitar tuning key for a looser, distinctly Hawaiian string sound.
